MRA Salesperson of the Year

Carmen Fuccillo

April 2002 - Carmen Fuccillo was named Salesperson of the Year by the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. He was honored by over 500 industry professionals, friends and family at an awards ceremony held at Anthony's Pier Four restaurant.

Carmen's Bio...

Fresh from Winchester High School, Carmen Fuccillo joined the ranks of Costa Fruit & Produce's service personnel on August 6, 1979. In this service role, Carmen's high level of service and resulting popularity amongst his customers soon resonated through the company and became a prototype for customer service excellence within the organization.

In 1993, the company chose to take advantage of Carmen's innate sales ability and enthusiastic customer service attitude by promoting him to an inside sales customer service position where he expertly handled the day to day needs of myriad and diverse hotel and restaurant customers. After years of consistently demonstrating a high level of customer care and attention in this capacity, in 1997, Carmen was promoted to the position of National Accounts Sales Manager in Costa's 'Team Fresh' sales division. In this position, with a team of customer service reps reporting to him, Carmen is personally in charge of the management and customer satisfaction of a number of regional and national multi-unit customers, numbering over 400 restaurant locations throughout New England. Amongst both his piers and customers, Carmen is famous for his quick wit, keen attention to detail and 'never-say-no' customer service attitude. He has also proven to be an invaluable source to his customers in terms of menu-planning, consulting as well developing quality oriented cost-effective product programs.

Carmen hales from Winchester, MA where he and his beautiful wife, Maureen, and three children have lived for 21 years.
