First, A Word About Our Logo

"The Costa logo memorializes our founder, the late Manuel Costa Sr. Manny Sr. was raised in the Azores Islands where, at a young age the responsibility of providing for his mother and eight siblings fell squarely on his shoulders.

The young Manny would await the pre-dawn farmers and fisherman and buy their produce, then scurry off to sell the goods to inland villagers. The logo reminds us of his quest for a better life for all as well as our humble beginnings in food distribution.

A privately owned company, Costa has been servicing the foodservice industry throughout New England for more than fifty years.

We offer a complete line of fresh products that include, fresh fruits and produce, dairy, and value added fruits, vegetables and prepared salads. In addition, over 3500 frozen food and grocery items are part of our product mix.

We services a wide range of foodservice customers, consisting of hotels, restaurants, contract feeders, healthcare, K-12 schools, retail, and college and university dining.

Our mission is to be the Northeast leader in the market segments we serve.
